2021 Kia Stinger Wheel and Tire Setup
This 2021 Kia Stinger runs a square set of 19×9.5 TSW IMOLA wheels finished in silver, paired with 245/35R19 Falken tires at all four corners. The +35mm offset brings the wider wheels closer to the fender line while maintaining a clean, performance focused appearance at the factory ride height.
Moving to the same wheel and tire size front and rear gives the Stinger a more balanced look than the factory staggered arrangement. The wider 9.5 inch wheel adds presence up front, while the matching rear setup keeps the stance consistent from corner to corner.
Factory vs New Specs
The 2021 Kia Stinger GT commonly used a staggered factory wheel and tire arrangement with approximately 19×8 wheels and 225/40R19 tires up front and 19×9 wheels with 255/35R19 tires in the rear.
New Wheel Size: This setup uses 19×9.5 TSW IMOLA wheels at all four corners with a +35mm offset.
Front Wheel Width: The front increases from approximately 8 inches to 9.5 inches, adding 1.5 inches of wheel width.
Rear Wheel Width: The rear increases from approximately 9 inches to 9.5 inches, adding half an inch of wheel width.
Front Tire: The 245/35R19 is wider than the typical factory 225/40R19 front tire, giving the front of the car a larger contact patch.
Rear Tire: The square 245/35R19 setup is slightly narrower than the typical factory 255/35R19 rear tire. The advantage here is matching tire sizing at all four corners rather than maximizing rear tire width.
Tire Diameter: A 245/35R19 measures approximately 25.8 inches tall. That remains close to the approximately 26 inch diameter of the common factory 19 inch tire package, so the change in overall ride height is minimal.
Square Fitment and Stance
The biggest difference with this setup is the move from a staggered factory arrangement to a square 19×9.5 configuration. Using the same wheel width, offset and tire size on all four corners gives the Stinger a more uniform footprint and a cleaner front to rear balance.
The 9.5 inch front wheel fills considerably more of the front wheel opening than the factory setup. With the +35mm offset, the wheel sits closer to the fender line without requiring an aggressive amount of outward poke.
At the rear, the wider 9.5 inch wheel maintains a strong stance while the 245 tire keeps the square configuration consistent. The result is a planted look that works well with the long, low proportions of the Stinger while retaining the factory suspension height.
Ride and Drivability
The wider front wheel and 245 tire can give the Stinger a more responsive front end and additional front contact area compared with the typical factory 225 width tire.
Because the overall tire diameter remains close to stock, there is very little change in ground clearance or effective gearing. The shorter sidewall provides a firmer and more immediate steering response while still retaining enough sidewall for everyday street use.
A square setup also provides more flexibility for tire rotation than a staggered package, assuming the tires themselves are non directional or otherwise allow the appropriate rotation pattern.
