Lowered
This 2008 Nissan 350Z is leaning fully into the aggressive stance vibe that the Z platform has been worshipped for since day one. Rolling on Motegi Battle wheels in 18×9.5 with a low 15mm offset and wrapped in 235/40/18 rubber at all four corners, this build runs a clean square setup that gives it a balanced, purposeful look from every angle. Pair that with the lowered suspension and you get a Z that hunkers down over the wheels with proper fender gap killed off, sitting flush to slightly poked depending on camber. The Motegi Battle has always had that timeless JDM-inspired multi-spoke design, and at 18×9.5 with a low offset, it fills out the arches the way the factory 350Z stylists clearly envisioned but never quite delivered on.
Factory vs New Specs
A factory 2008 350Z Touring or Track rolls on 18×8 front and 18×8.5 rear wheels with roughly a 30mm offset, mounted to 225/45/18 fronts and 245/45/18 rears. This build runs a true square setup at 18×9.5 all around, which gives the front end a full 1.5 inches of extra wheel width and the rear an additional inch over stock. The offset drops from around 30mm down to 15mm, which alone pushes each wheel about 0.6 inches further outward per side. Add in the wider barrel and the total outward shift comes in close to 1.1 to 1.4 inches per side, putting the wheels right up at the fender lip for that flush to lightly poked stance look. Tire diameter actually drops by roughly half an inch compared to factory, which combined with the lowered suspension drops the overall ride height a noticeable amount and tightens up the side profile. Handling response sharpens up with the wider contact patch out front, and the square setup gives the rear a more planted, modern look compared to the slightly tucked stock rear.
