The Borla 2016-2024 Infinity Q50 (Auto V6) S Type Cat-Back – Carbon Fiber Black Anodized Tip is a cat-back exhaust system from Borla built for the application shown in the product title. Borla S-Type is the middle sound level, giving a sporty and clearly noticeable tone without moving to Borla’s loudest street option. A cat-back system replaces the exhaust from the catalytic-converter area rearward, making it a common choice for shoppers who want better sound, improved rear appearance, and a bolt-on flow upgrade. Product-specific details: This 2.5″ diameter True Dual Borla(r) Cat-Back(tm) system was designed specifically for the Q50. It features a merge X-Pipe and Borla(r)’s patented Polyphonic Harmonizer technology for increased performance and improved sound. Borla(r)’s Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound. Completely eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-Pipe, Borla(r)’s patented SwitchFire(r) design truly blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance and a custom sound.
