The Banks Power 2017-2024 Chevrolet/GMC 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax L5P Monster-RAM Turbo Inlet Elbow – Red is a diesel intake elbow system from Banks Power built for the application shown in the product title. Banks Monster-Ram is an intake elbow or intake horn system for diesel trucks. It replaces restrictive factory inlet parts and is designed to improve airflow into the engine. This series is best for Cummins and diesel customers who want increased airflow, better boost response, and a stronger intake path. This induction component is intended to improve or support the airflow path feeding the engine, especially on modified, diesel, or performance-focused applications. Product-specific details: The Banks Monster-Ram Turbo Inlet for the 2017-2026 Duramax L5P is the only intake elbow that outperforms stock without the destructive effects of turbo surge, caused by competitors. More than a year in development, the Monster-Ram increases air density to the compressor. This results in slower turbo shaft speed and a reduction in time to boost. With slower shaft speeds, throttle response is improved, and turbo life is increased.Key Features: Improved throttle response. Reduced turbo shaft speed. Increased turbo life (thanks to reduced shaft speed). 11% lower turbo drive pressure. 23% greater Gulp Capacity (volume). 17% larger turbo inlet size. 18.7% less restrictive than stock. 11.9%.
