Significant Weight Reduction and Measurable Performance Gains
Constructed entirely from lightweight titanium, the Evolution Line exhaust reduces weight by an impressive 35 pounds compared to the factory system.
Beyond the weight savings, Akrapovič engineers were able to increase performance with gains of 7 horsepower and 17.9 lb-ft of torque at 2,050 RPM, all without requiring any tuning modifications.
The result is a more responsive driving experience with improved power delivery throughout the rev range.
Signature Akrapovič Sound
Sound has always been one of Akrapovič’s strongest attributes, and the new M5 system is no exception.
A specially designed resonator, cast titanium X-pipe, and acoustic reflectors integrated into the exhaust tips work together to create a deeper and more engaging exhaust note. At the same time, Akrapovič incorporated an additional damping element within the link pipe to maintain comfort during daily driving and highway cruising.
The outcome is a refined exhaust tone that becomes aggressive when called upon while remaining civilized during normal driving.

One of the highlights of the Evolution Line system is the titanium X-pipe, which is cast in-house at Akrapovič’s own titanium foundry.

Multiple Tip Options Available
Owners can personalize the look of their M5 with two distinct tailpipe designs.
Traditional round titanium tips remain available, while an all-new hexagonal tip design offers a more modern and aggressive appearance that complements the bold styling of BMW’s latest M5.

Optional Carbon Fiber Enhancements
To further elevate the appearance of the vehicle, Akrapovič has developed several optional carbon fiber components.
For the G90 M5 Sedan, a high-gloss carbon fiber lip spoiler is available, marking the first spoiler offering of its kind from Akrapovič. Both the G90 and G99 can also be equipped with a high-gloss carbon fiber rear diffuser designed to accentuate the factory body lines while complementing the titanium exhaust system.
